Once engaged to conduct a closing, F&M Title and Escrow will request a thorough title search; an essential step in ensuring the transfer of clear title to the purchaser. In addition, we will order the survey, if required by the lender, and our attorney will prepare the deed. F&M Title and Escrow will handle coordination of the necessary documents for settlement; speak with all parties involved in the transaction, and forward the title insurance binder to the lender. Following the closing, F&M Title and Escrow will perform the necessary recordation of the legal documents in the appropriate jurisdiction, return certified copies to the appropriate parties and release all prior liens against the subject property. |
